Very nice stand

A very sturdy and stable stand, nice quality and material, I recommend. Folding makes it portable.

Its nice versatile product but have some front to back wobbliness

It can hold lot of weight and is pretty well build. Finish looks also better that you might expect but there are still some wobbliness front-back. But its pretty sturdy and does not wobble on sides. Only thing to complain beside slight wobbliness is it becomes pretty expensive when you start to stack pieces. Price of stand itself is nothing comparing to extra elements. Otherwise really nice product with nice finish

Excellent with great accessories

I use this stand with a Kawai ES8 and have two accessories attached to it: a tray (K&M 18819) for a 17' bulkish laptop (6kg) with extra space for a mouse (more space left) and a sheet holder (K&M 18805) I use for a 12.9' ipad pro (the magnetic back of the ipad works perfectly with the holder btw).

The stand takes all of this with no problem and is incredibly stable (I was worried that the ES8 would be too heavy for it). In fact I suspect that the size and weight of the ES8 contribute to the stability (as it sits perfectly on the holding arms).

There's a lot of leg space and it even came with useful velcro straps to tie all the cables, so the final setup is clean.

The accessories are also great. Everything was easy to assemble and with high quality parts (with lots of thought for little details). The adjustment and positioning of the accessories are also very flexible and with lots of extra potential with more accessories (like the second shelf and boom attachment).

I highly recommend this stand (especially with the accessories).

Great fit for my CP73

Love its stability and quality of materials which seem to be much more than I though when seeing its structure. This is also a great fit for my Yamaha CP73 stage piano.

One of the most important reason to buy this Omega keyboard stand is that there is more leg room for multiple pedals (if you use more than one) as well as the one who loves to sit while playing ( you may find it is harder for tall people to sit and play the keyboard with stands that have other leg forms). the other pros is if you are the one who loves complex stuff above stand, Omega provides many optional accessories that you can attach into the main stand as well. Lastly, the adjustment function is very easy to use with the locking clamping screws which I think they are well designed.

I feel its price is also reasonable, so Recommend it!.

Great, but not as stable as I thought.

After a week of use, this is my review: I think this is neither as stable and neither as heavy as people make it out to be.

My keyboard (a yamaha P125, which doesn't reach the back rubber pads, so I had to use the glue on rubber chips that came with the product to fix it) still rocks considerably back and forward, specially if I play at an angle. Maybe if your keyboard has a longer depth it won't rock as much, I don't know.

And I didn't find it all that heavy! Which is a pro in my opinion! PERFECTLY transportable to gigs, even more so because of the shoulder strap.

All in all, a great support but I was expecting no wooble whatsoever stability for a 150€ stand which didn't happen.

Also, this is IMPORTANT: K&M is the only brand that I'm aware of that makes stands that can go low enough to play your instrument comfortably, so just for that this is worth the price in my opinion. It goes as low as 60cm which is great, most stands go around 65cm.

Oh, and it's great that there isn't a metal bar between your knees and the keyboard. Other K&M stands go as low as 60cm but there's an extra steel beam to clamp your legs uncomfortably. This is just great in that regard.

Great!

This piano stand is great quality, stable and packable. Looks great with plenty of leg room too. Best stand you can get.

A great update to the legendry Omega stand

This is my third Omega stand, the previous two were the normal standard ones which were a bit of a pain to move around. With the 18820 K&M have really solved the problem of transporting this amazing stand. It is now much easier to fold the stand and tuck it in your car or (for mare safety) place it in the dedicated case which has enough room for the extension arms and some cables maybe... if you want! although being one of the heaviest stands I have owned, it is by far the best and most adjustable sturdy stand I have ever came across. Paying those extra euros to get the foldable one is truly worth it if you are planning to gig with/transport this stand. I also have the tray that you can place on the second tier arms and the tablet holder that are sold separately as extensions of this stand and they are perfect. Absolute German craftsmanship at its best.

Unless you're really on a budget, do not compromise! go for this. its worthy of every penny!

Vast improvement from original Omega stand

The new K&M Omega Pro stand finally brings a smaller footprint for breakdown & packing. The original Omega is easily the most stable keyboard stand I've used in a 40+ year career, but by adding the folding capabilities it has made use considerably easier. The next improvement K&M could focus on is a more convenient way to store the stackers/upper tiers for transport after disassembling from the main stand, but this is an outstanding change and earns further product loyalty from me. My Omega Pro supports 3 keyboards comfortably (utilizing the 2nd & 3rd level stackers), and leaves more than enough space below for both volume & sustain pedals for each keyboard! I swear by this stand, and look forward to further developments from K&M.
