This heavyweight is very good built. I must say, it's a must to have in the studio, especially if you use heavy condenser/tube mic's. Great German quality as always. Very much recommended.

The stand you need for Drum OH

So I was looking for a good pair of mic stands to use as drum OH.

Deciding to buy this stand and matching it with the K&M 25530

Adjustable Arm was the best decision I ever made.

I mounted the Se electronics SE 4400A microphone and fully extended the arm with the stand at 240cm high, and it was solid and stable.

The extra counterweight that is included with the arm definitely did its job BUT this stand is so solid and stable and heavy that will keep being stable with any microphone on top of it.
