Probably the best mic stand in this price range
I had several of these, (mostly the boom arm version), and they survive heavy "on the road" use very well. I bought this one to hold an AER Compact 60 amp, and it feels nice and steady with the amp at about shoulder height.
Not a lightweight stand, but not overly heavy either. Fairly wide spread on the sturdy legs give it very good stability, and the twist lock on the vertical extension can hold a 7kg amp with ease.

Perfect
Absolutely perfect mic stand for anyone who is fronting a band and wants to look good doing so.
