The label on the box says "Monitor Stand", but this one is a bit difficult to categorise. My intention is to use it with a very small guitar amp centrally and a very small (Studio size) vocal monitor each side. This means making up something for them to sit on. I have some sheets of ABS plastic, long and narrow, which I can join with a "Piano Hinge" from the local DIY supplier. This can then be positioned with the hinge at 90 degrees in the arms of the stand. The amp will then not be too small between the arms of the stand and the stereo vocal monitors positioned each side. Nothing like being non-standard :) As my star ratings suggest, the stand is perfectly stable and well made, without being too heavy to cart around. More than enough for my requirements.

For the money I really can't fault this amp stand. It does its job and it does it well. Don't know what the weight rating is but I'm using it in conjunction with a little Fender Champion and it just about fits ! A little, maybe an inch or two, wider and it would have been as if made for this amp ! As it is the power cord is really tight up against the right hand side as you look at it, dosent stop it from fitting but its just a tiny bit off centre and that annoys me ! OCD ! Possibly..
