I have the Kawai DG30 for 2 weeks and it brings a smile on my face every time I play it. The sound of the default grand setting is warm and rich. The dynamics of the keys are so beautifully balanced that I find it pure enjoyment to play classical pieces and lighter music. The sound of the sound system is beautifully balanced. You can hear the bass notes more on the left side as you move closer to the mids you can hear it move more to the middle as the high notes are more present on the right side like you would experience the sound with an acoustic piano. The volume of the sound system could have been a little bit more to my taste but Kawai chose to make it this way. For playing the piano at home or in a restaurant the volume is ok.
