Very good violin
I really find this violin very beautiful. However, I notice that there are some tiny scratches here and there. I am happy with this violin
Very good for a moderate price
? Summary: a good intermediate violin: fits exactly my needs and price possibilities.
? Pro: easy to use:
o Easy to tune, using the pegs as well as the fine tuners (this is truly critical)
o Just right string pressure on left hand (for me at least)
o Feels good in my hands
o Good response
? Cons:
o Sound is not as crisp as I like
o Does not come with Dominant strings as indicated originally. Strings are good though.
For a student at a certain point a beginner violin will limit your capability of progression (this may be true for the bow as well, and you may consider different strings and rosin. Anyhow I needed to get a new violin in the range of some 750-800¤.
My main goal was thus to get a violin on which I could develop e.g. vibrato and staccato. Of course more expensive violin would allow this, but on this violin I feel good.
