In hot weather, do not overdo it

Compared with hard rosin (kolstein), in my opinion it seemed that the sound would be a little brighter. More suitable for orchestra. Weather conditions have a good effect on this product. In summer, it is more viscous and if you smear a lot, it is difficult to remove from the strings, in this case, hard rosin(kolstein) helps out.

Best bass rosin

I've used this rosin for years now. I like it very much, especially this soft edition. It really grabs the string and works on all string kinds and bows/hair.

Great resin for double bass bows

Hi,

I bought this resin over a year ago at the same time I bought my first bass bow. It was recommended and therefore I tested it on all bass bows I got. At first (as long, as it has room temperature) it is kind of hard like a normal resin. The longer you use it, the warmer it gets and then it’s like viscous gum.

The playability is great in my opinion, but I am not very experienced in playing the double bass with a bow and therefore I don’t know many other resins for comparison. The efficiency in cleaning and the protection are also very good!

I would buy it again!

Great sounding sticky rosin

My 1st choice rosin. Quite dry sounding & gets the string starting instantly. Doesn't cover your bass in as much dust as other brands.
