Great little keyboard but bricked during update and no proper support

Ok so I used this one happily for a few years till I had to do a firmware update which ended up bricking the keyboard. Korg's own mac os app just froze mid-update and the keyboard never turned on again... The lack of a factory reset is beyond me.

Furthermore, Korg support told me the device would be too costly to repair anyway, suggesting I should just throw it away to buy a new one.

Very good but..

Nice Keybed, very comfortable, one of the best for slim keys, Easy Bluetooth connection with IOS.

Connecting it via Bluetooth to PC is a nightmare, and I wish if the there was an Arpeggiator.

Compact, nice for travel

For traveling or outdoor use it is perfect:

I can squeeze it together with my old beaten up guitar in the same guitar bag, throw in a Bluetooth speaker for the Korg to use it together with phone's midi app and go jam in the wild.

For home use, personally i wouldn't recommend it:

The small micro keys just cannot be compared with standard key size, it is just not as satisfying to play (i have pretty large hands and everything feels cramped together). The quality and feel of the keys however are decent, definitely better than most budget synths. The compact size is sweet for travelling or outdoors, but for home-stationary use i would go with something else.

Build quality: really really good for the price!

Wireless/Bluetooth functionality is Really really bad:

1) Till today i haven't found a way to hook it up with my windows PC.

2) My old android phone needed another app for it to work via Bluetooth (BLE midi or something was the name). It won't work with my new android phone - i have tried everything.

3) When the wireless BT douse work it would sometimes have a massive latency making it unplayable.

I have the korg for 1,5years - I've used the wireless Bluetooth successfully maybe on 2 occasions for 30mins each.

Very handy midi keyboard

The possibility to use it without cord makes it very portable and easy to use midi keyboard that will make it a central piece of recording music in home studio or on the go as there is no lag and the response is great. Would love if Korg would implement auto-connect when device is on with their bluetooth software on computer. Some additional midi buttons/knobs on the keyboard would be very useful to get some more control over vsts with just one device - place for improvements here in the next generations.

keys

keys are really small. Practical for smaller spaces but not so rewarding to play. Does the job if youre not tracking complex stuff.
