KRK Rokit RP10-3 G4

Awesome speakers!

Great value for money! I love the clarity but the speakers are quite flat and not as bass-heavy as you'd expect from a 10" driver, but they are sufficiently punchy on their own. I use them with a 12" Sub which fills up the low end for a fuller sound.

Some reviews online complained about hiss/noise from the speakers, which was more apparent with a cheaper audio interface. After I upgraded to the EVO16 there is hardly any hiss. I don't think the hiss is overbearing or a reason not to purchase these speakers. I think some degree of noise is to be expected for their volume. They perform well from low volumes all the way to max volume.

I heard new details in songs I have listened to for years. They are a joy to play guitar through with an amp sim. It's safe to say I would buy them again without hesitation.

KRK 10/3 GEN 4 par excellence

When choosing the right monitor it’s good practice to weigh up design build quality against what realistically is your expectations of the purchase, what I mean is knowing the manufacturer and it’s history has always been the decisive reason why I haven’t gone to others and owing GEN 3 rokit 6 before The Gibson family bought out KRK has assured me that they were only ever going to improve on what was already a great product and brand.

Why I choose the tri-amped 10/3 over the 2 way was simple, I wanted to hear more separation and these have delivered on that front and haven’t just impressed me but also some singer song writers that have viewed them recently, like I said earlier first is build quality followed by sound and separation and lastly price, but if you consider the price of 2 monitors they fall well into the category of affordability for those looking for a pristine sounding reliable system that will fulfil all their expectations.
