This product should be bought by parents who don't want to disappoint their kid, but they don't expect that kid will continue to learn how to play it. Guitar looks excellent and the sound is good, but strings that comes with guitar aren't good enough so it must be replaced

Got this fro my 8 year old nephew who has been learning guitr for a few months. I was surprised at just how good tone it has for such a small instrument. For my own preference I'd have liked the action to be a little lower, but it plays well - very good intonation too. More imprtantly my nephew loves it and finds it easy to play. Very good value for a serious young beginner who needs a small guitar

I bought this for my 8y old son, he loves it! You need to love your instrument, to get the best out of you! You need to feel for it, care for it, warm it up, as your heart dictates! :) Being 3/4 is perfect for now, but I'm pretty sure it will be useful even later, as a back up/travelling guitar! Enjoy it! A, and one more thing, we wanted this Cordoba, but it wasn't stocked at the time, we went for the La Mancha Rubi S/59 which does not come even close to this overall quality. La Mancha was slightly smaller than this, but even the fiber of the wood and the finishing did not satisfy us completely. So, we returned it and ordered Cordoba quickly, as it came back in stock!

My 9 and 6 year old daughters expressed their desire to learn guitar. On doing some research and reading various reviews, the Startone CG-851 1/2 and 3/4 size Classical Guitars seemed to fit the bill. I have since had the guitars professionally set-up and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Beautiful tone out of such a small and cheap guitar. Purchased for my young son to learn on and he is loving it. What matters, neck feel and set up are spot on. Loses on star on quality as there was some glue residue on fretboard, a couple of finish flaws and was generally a bit dusty, but for a £100 instrument...I'll let those pass. Superb guitar at the price point.

Ordered for 9 yr old student. Pros: Okay quality for learning, holds tune and easy on fingers. Cons: Neck is quite fat, sound is poor overall. Good value overall for money. If child shows promise after a few months then more expensive guitar will likely be required.

This 3/4 classical guitar is a joy to look at and to play. Good for kids or people with small hands. Very pretty, light and small, I would say that is ideal for girls. It is really nice and plays more than decently, for the price, having a solid top and a good finish overall. Of course it's not a Torres! Don't expect a great sound, it is just a nice small guitar for beginners, with a very nice look and sound, for a more than acceptable price.
