Larry Carlton H7 WH
Electric Guitar

Latest User Reviews
Well worth the hype, as far as I am concerned
I own two Indonesian-made guitars, one of which is the Larry Carlton reviewed here. Both guitars are well made and were properly set up upon delivery. Despite being about two thirds the price of my PRS Custom 24 SE, this guitar looks much classier to me. Its Sire branding is subtly executed, and the gold Larry Carlton signature on the white headstock is understated and elegant.
The pickups on this guitar are expertly voiced for jazz and blues, although it also rocks well. The collaboration between Sire and Larry Carlton is evident in the quality of the instrument, as both entities are known for their commitment to excellence. The H7 model is even used by Carlton himself on tour, which speaks volumes about its quality.
You can find the specs, hardware, and other details of this guitar elsewhere, including information about the ebony fingerboard that doesn't turn your fingers black. What I can attest to is that this guitar inspires me to play the style it was made for. The slightly narrower fingerboard is perfect for jazz comping, and the pickup voicings are spot on.
I highly recommend this guitar, regardless of the color you choose.
