Great value fender competitor

I paid £333.00 for this in the 2021 Black Friday sale.

I was a bit hesitant at first because I was going to get a fender player Stratocaster.

I’m really glad that I opted for this as it’s lovely.

Have since compared it along side the fender and must say I prefer the sire.

It plays and sounds great. The rolled fretboard is just so comfortable and the satin neck feels really nice in the hand.

I am over the moon with the price I paid for it but think I would have been very happy with it still had I paid full price.

Really nice feeling neck

I really like the feel of the neck, setup was OK out of the box but needed some truss rod adjustment.

There are a few high frets with minor fret buzz - it's not enough to bother doing anything about it - but I can notice it when I'm unplugged.

The pickups sound bland but adequate.

Pick guard is even uglier in person with a mushy black stripe around it (obviously this is subjective).

Overall for what I paid I feel extremely satisfied, the neck keeps me playing this guitar daily.

One of the best Guitars I've ever had

This thing is amazing. It sounds incredibly good, it feels extremely comfortable, it looks great... The overall quality is very good. I usually always change the pickups of the guitars I buy and tweak them here and there but not with this one. Everything about this guitar is exactly as it should be.

I took 2 stars from quality because in my particular case, the pickup switch has a bit of a contact issue. It works mostly fine but every now and then the tone of the pickups goes completely dull and I have to tap and move the switch around until it goes back to normal. Nothing that cannot be repaired at home within an hour, but it's still there and it's annoying.

Overall tho, as I said, one of the best guitars I've ever played.

Best guitar neck out there!

The best part of this guitar is the neck and how comfortable and premium it feels to play. Best neck i've ever played on any guitar! The guitar weighs a bit more than your typical s style guitar but it's manageable. Pickups are decent; a bit on the bright side but get the job done. Absolutely worth the money.

Wow, what a guitar

I bought this guitar in cyberweek for 395 euro and what a bargain it turns out to be. I already have an '78 Aria Pro II PE-800 (Les Paul style) and this guitar is the complete opposite with all the extras I wanted (nice tremolo, locking tuners without string tree, roasted maple neck with rounded edges, HSS with coil split in 4th position, abalone dots, nice nut).

Playing is great right out of the box, I just lowered the bridge a bit, just because I could.

From the pictures, I thought I'd like the surf green more, but the antique white was on offer and I like it a lot, also thanks to the pearl pickguard and I think it's actually a bit more timeless.

One thing that annoys me, is that next to the lovely cutout that makes the heel joint less blocky, there is an extra cutout on the back that looks like more access to the high notes, but I fail to see how anyone could have his hand over there, while a front-cutout like on a prs would make more sense.

I only gave 4 stars for sound because I'm sure more expensive guitars may have better or more strat sound, but the sound is good enough for me.

Great sounding guitar, but some issues with packaging.

The guitar sounds incredible at least to my ears. I am not a huge fan of fender Strats, so I wanted to go for something a bit different and easier to record. This thing sounds really great for recording, the output is really clean and very easy to mix. It has that typical Strat crunch too, but it's just a bit brighter than a normal Strat and cuts through the mix very well!

The neck feels amazing!! Nice and chunky, frets rounded on the edge so you can go up and down without hesitation. I love playing some funky stuff time to time, and this smooth rolled fretboard makes a huge difference. More than I first imagined.

Last but not the least, the guitar looks stunning. The varnished neck is a bit strange in the beginning, but at least with the off white body it looks lovely.

Its an ok guitar

The neck is on the thin side. My hands need a bit thicker neck. Tuners work fine. Roasted maple looks and feels great. A few uneven frets here and there but no fret outs or crazy buzzing.

Pickups too bright and not that nice sounding in my opinion. The volume and tone pots are useless.

The low E string i s too close to the fret edge and the high e string is too far inside the fretboard. Im guessing the neck heel and neck pocket are a bit misaligned, which I've seen happen on F brand guitars too. This does not affect the playability but would prefer the low E string to be more inside the fretboard space as it could easily slip out if you bend it upwards a bit.

Guitars looks lovely and the body is not heavy. Very resonant guitar when unplugged.
