Compact subwoofer

It's small subwoofer I have expected little more power but for what I'm using it's ok . Don't buy that if you want loud dj parts it's not that you can't use them but it's more for listening music for home and Tv entertainment it's perfect for that.

Love it!

Compact, full rounded bass.

Perfect in my DJ room with 6" Focal speakers.

Don't expect 30htz lows.

Would recommend for home or very small venue only.

Fine sub

The sub is fine for small house party's.

I have a pair of dB B-Hype 10's, planned to use it in garden for small parties or BBQ's, but did not have one yet. I placed the sub alongside my stereo HiFi setup as a test and kept it there since it is not to big (so it not to much in the way) and like the subtle low-end extension. Probably it is not as good as a closed sub with a lower SPL for that purpose but it works!

I would have loved a full cross-over circuit built in (stereo in, and HPF out for both channels) but for me it probably will not be much of a problem since my tops will be fine running full range.

Great sub for a small room

Great sub if you need extra bass but don't have the space for a normal active sub. Great sound, ideal for smaller rooms.

Love This

Ideal for adding that extra little bit of umph to your system.

Use this in bars and restaurants just to add a little bit extra to 6" LD wall mount speakers I use for background music.

I like the controls for volume and setting the crossover point.

Tidy, unobtrusive and will fit and look good anywhere.

Small fart

Not a lot of places, but the subs needed? This is the right choice.

Remakable suff.

I did not know how much of my favorite rock bands sound I was missing until I got this LD bass box. OK, not just the bass guitar and drum, but a good part of lead guitar, key board & even the singers voice too. This enhances them all.

7 years later, used in live solo performance, this beast is still punching pretty hard. I love it as a seat to sit on, plus its rich, full added sound, seems to pull & hold the punters.

Smooth sounding if used sensibly.

I also do a solo/duo act in bars/coffee houses with guitar/keyboard, I find that siting on this at the microphone, with this connected to the line out on my Marshall AS100D acoustic combo surprisingly brings out a fuller and smoother sound to acoustic (electric) guitar and my voice too. While sitting on the LD bass, I can feel the bass working, the sound is sweet.

Needs a carrying handle though.

UPDATE 24/09/15 Fitted a carrying handle (probably voided the guarantee), but much easier to carry, so gets used more often and for good reason too, sweetens the sound of guitar & voice so much.

Good punch such a small sub

I got this to fill in the lower end in a church (300 seater) with a Tannoy system. I was a bit aprehensive at first and though I might need two, but I was totally wrong. It is more than enough to fill out what we need. We run the bass guitar and kick drum trough it and it handles it all with ease. We do not need 20Hz rumble and we do have quite reserved sound levels.

Best value for a buck!

Before I bought this I owned LD Systems Dave10G3 and I truly loved the bass sound. I wanted something with high quality sub with that true LD PA sound into my theatre. So I ordered 88 A and it truly delivers what I wanted.

Even it's small and it seems not to have that much power but it sounds excellent with anything I put throught it. Those two 8" woofers go really low give enough bounch to movies, music and games where I use it.

If you compare this to common home theatre system woofers you get more of the real cinema sound which is one of the reasons we go cinemas at the first place.

5 star product and solid LD Systems quality all the way! I recommend this from home theatres to home studios.
