pleasantly surprised

I bought this little paddle with not allot of exceptions due to its price points , but , let me tell you, it is surprising.

SUPER well constructed (metal housing), the cable feels solid, and it has that "build to last" feel.

the small size factor is actually a plus , as i use it as a DAW controller on my desk, and as a paddle on the floor when i need to be. the polarity button works great and accessible,

however, the paddle itself can feel a bit stiff , but that could be because it is new and i have not really broke it in yet. time will tell. if you need a 2nd paddle, a travelling foot switch, or just something versatile, get this one .

its definitely one of those "good to have" items in the studio.

Just the job

I bought this as a replacement sustain pedal for my Novation KS5 and it's doing a great job. It's solidly built and reliable especially on a live stage. Recommended.

Not a Boss but ok for the money.

Handy little thing, buy one. You couldn’t make one yourself for what this costs.

Good cheap peal, but noisy

pros:

cheap

works as expected

can be combined to multiple pedals

cons:

a bit noisy

the rubber feet can leave traces on the floor, so I removed them and added some cheap felt ones.

Okay for the price.

I purchased an Impact GX49 midi controller and wanted a sustain pedal for my home studio applications. I was on a tight budget so I settled for this. It is relatively well constructed. With a suitably long cable.

It is very light and moves a lot under your foot. So you may find you have to tape it down or something. Especially if you have wooden or tiled flooring. But this thing does its job. Its very responsive. Overall for the price you can't expect very much. But for the price, good value.

Good cheap pedal

Used in the studio so no problems. Built quality a bit weak for gigging but for the price it's great. If you take care of it then there's no hassle

Functional, inexpensive pedal

I've used this with Novations, Rolands, Yamahas, Korgs, DSI synths and Millenium-branded keyboards.

It worked perfectly with all of them and I've never had any issues with it (I think I've had to use the polarity switch on the back with some of them, well done Lead Foot for including a polarity switch!).

I currently use it as a STOP switch with Ableton Live (via a DSI Mopho SE), using it to stop loops and clips at the end of songs, so I stomp it pretty hard. Because I'm abusing it, I bought a spare, just in case.

It's an all-plastic body so it feels flimsier than a metal pedal, but it's put up with years of abuse from me, and there's hardly a mark on it (and I wear UK 12 boots onstage).

In summary: functional, inexpensive and impressively durable!

Decent pedal for the price

I got this pedal along with the keyboard bundle. While it responds decently most of the time, it doesn't really feel like the conventional pedals out there, not to mention its unusual shape. Tried it out while arranging something with my midi controller, but throughout the process I wasn't always confident that I was stepping on it right and getting the right response, hence I'll probably not be using it in a live setting anytime soon.

That being said, the pedal has an acceptable build and is light-weight and compact. I like the fact that it has a switch for polarity. In some instances where keyboards go funky and sustain notes when the pedal is not pushed (and don't sustain when you push the pedal), flipping the polarity switch will help solve the problem.

Overall, it's a decent pedal that might need some getting used to for those who want to take it on the go, but for that affordable price it's a good buy.

Cheap and good

This is pretty decent pedal for the price. The built quality is not the best you can get but it seems very sturdy so the comprise has been made in the right areas. It works as intended without any problems, very good for some casual studio usage.

Good simple pedal

Nothing fancy about it but it works perfectly well.

It's a bit of a strange shape if you are used to usual keyboard pedals but good for the price.

I use it with my Midi keyboard connected to Logic and so far everything works well.

If you don't mind the unusual shape I recommend this pedal.

Solid Footswitch

I got this footswitch to use it with my Alesis SR16 drumcomputer. I bought it because it was quite cheap and i just wanted to have the chance to switch between the patterns. It also works great for start and stop, i think i will order a second one soon. The cable long enough for me and seems to be quite solid. Great deal for the money!
