LP 229 Mambo Cowbell
Based on 8 reviews
I was looking for a cowbell sound that would blend in with my drums but also sound warm and healthy on its own. I have owned about 10 cowbells so far and mostly have been lacking this quality. I play percussions and drumset, so i have hit a few cowbells before. I found this cowbell by listening to a record and then finding out what cowbell was used on it, because i loved the sound of it! This is definetly a work horse of a bell and works in so many contemporary styles of music, from latin to jazz and from ballad to fast rock i cover most cowbell work with this. It has a low pitch but has also a nice attack to its sound when hit on the top. Together with a smaller cowbell it works well!
LP ES-12 Salsa Cha Cha Cowbell
Based on 7 reviews
Used in my reggae band, in percussion role alongside other hand held instruments and blocks. (not drumming). Pros... Great strong built. Easy to clamp. Brilliant impressive low pitch tone\s. Good value for money. Cons...... None I could think of. If you are planning to add a low pitch cowbell to you existing set, then, look no further, this is the cowbell you are looking for. Never go wrong with LP percussion, almost all of my (extensive) set-up is LP. I highly recommend this product.
LP 204AN Black Beauty Cowbell BK

Absolutely brilliant. I have been waiting for these for quite some time. Item was very well packed and arrived intact. They were out of stock when I bought them, but, believe me, it was well worth the wait. I purchased this product together with the LP Ridge Rock Rider to add to my current percussion set. They both sound incredibly well. As is becoming the "norm" with LP products I have purchased in the past, they not only have a superb intonation, but, they are also very well constructed and seems like they are built to stand the test of time, very durable. I am over the moon with this fantastic buy.
LP 008 Chad Smith Cowbell
Based on 3 reviews
This Chad Smith cowbell was actually advertised as a cowbell for Rock musicians who wanted to add a bit of flavor to their beats but honestly this is the way any cowbell should sound. Obviously a cowbell is always gonna sound like one, it's that one signature sound. But this Chad Smith signature cowbell is THE sound you're looking for. The construction is very robust and steady and it seems like it will last for a long time. Obviously it's a bit heavy but once you mount it into your rack that doesn't matter. Great addition to your drum kit if you're looking to spice up your drumming!
Pearl BCH-10
Based on 1 reviews
I'm a full-time drum teacher specialising in world percussion work shops and this Pearl BCH-10 is the perfect choice for my Brazilian Samba drum groups. Unlike other major brands I've tried, these bells don't rust, are very durable and hard to dent, have multiple distinct tones from the mouth, back and tail, have HUGE projection when played hard, but keep their warm tone even when played softly. They are also very close in pitch from bell to bell, presumably from consistent manufacturing processes, which makes them a great choice for performance groups. I now own 10 of these and am so so happy with them. After years of heavy use they keep their tone and integrity and are such expressionate instruments. They have quite pure, musical tones, so if you're looking for that drier, raspier,...
LP Ridge Rider Cowbell Tommy Lee
Based on 1 reviews
My last cowbell was okay but it didn’t have the ridge area which is one of the reasons I chose this one. Latin Percussion are a respected brand so I knew I would get a quality product and it sounds great and it is very loud. The aesthetics are a big part of why I bought this, I have an aqua sparkle Catalina maple and I wanted something that wasn’t just an anonymous black blob, this really looks great with my kit. I like the clamp as well it’s better than the usual clamps on cowbells also you can’t tell from the packaging but there is a drum key as well.
Sonor CB 4 Charanga Bell 4"
Based on 1 reviews
I bought this high 4" bell to augment my cowbell set - it's pitched at Bb if that interests anyone! Out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the mount - the lug is trapezoid, it has three grooved faces at about 120*. This means you can change where the wing nut lies in relation to the bell and will be really handy on mounting rods as frequently the bells need to be mounted near other percussion or near the rod-mount; getting access to all those wing nuts can be fiddly! Also it has a sturdy rubber washer instead of the usual metal, which should reduce buzz and help isolate the bell from other mounted items. Tonality, the bell is bright and clear, very pingy. Without damping the bell is too wet, but it comes with a substantial chunk of foam that can be cut to size - easily enough...
Pearl PCB-4 Primero Cowbell
Based on 11 reviews
I play cajon and percussion and wanted to add some cowbells to my setup. I bought this Pearl PCB-4 Primero Cowbell along with the Millenium cowbell 7 and they are a good match. The Pearl has a very good quality sound, pitched just right to cut through without being too intrusive. It is a nice small, compact cowbell making it easy to fit into a crowded percussion rack or on to a cymbal stand. It is well made, easy to fit and it stays where I put it. It is a good match for the Millenium cowbell as the two different pitches sound just right together.

this is a great value for money item - the bell rings out with a good sound and the build quality so far seems to be pretty amazing for the price - and that is with it being hit fairly hard ! I am not sure how long the powder coating will last - but it has not started coming off just yet that I can see. The clamp also seems well made and it does not loosen itself when being played. So all in all after a few weeks of playing this on my ludwig kit, I would be happy to spend this kind of money again on this item.
Pearl PCB-6

I bought this bell to augment my cowbell set. The mount is very simple, not the usual eye-bolt and wing nut but a pretty sturdy winged bolt (not as thick as LP bolts) going through a fixed nut, very old school (like you'd find on a JCR bell). It works fine although I'm more anxious about threading the mounted nut than I would be about threading the replaceable bolt on, say, an LP mount. The bells are coated in black paint with a satin finish. Tonally the bells are a little thinner than the higher end ECB bells and naturally more resonant, but there's enough 'click' in the sound to make it playable on a rack. The foam damper is pre-fixed and well-placed. Generally, it seems Pearl have extended the quality of their more expensive bells down into this budget range; the bell sounds far...
