Wanted one of these since early 80's
Everything I expected and more. Had a 5' Ludwig wooden snare in 1980 that never really made me smile. This drum's quality is flawless perfection and it was pretty much set up straight from the box - only thing I've touched is the snare tension and I haven't even adjusted the tuning (extremely unusual for me).
Sounds brilliant - the perfect contrast to my 33-yr old Rogers 8" Maple (from the Dark Side)
