Ludwig Pocket Kit - Red Sparkle

Great choice as a starter

This is a full featured kit that just happens to be sized for children. Will last well into teenagehood as can be expanded easily with additional toms, cymbals etc. Sounds great - loud, snappy where necessary.

Nice set for children and beginners.

The set is made for children, so very small.

I use it for practices, with a bigger chair.

But is all works nicely and sounds quit ok.

If you plan on using this professionally, I would recommend getting some better skins.

Great kit. Hardware is very good but not impressive, just good for the price, drums itself are quite good, on the other hand cymbals are disappointing as I thought they would be, so I'm fine with that. Overall great kit and recommended for kids, specially under 7 year old.

Not just for children

I bought this drum set for my son and was amazed by the set. I was expecting it to be cheaply made for children to just play with but low and behold the set was better than the entry level set I already had. I prefer practicing on this set than the entry level yamaha set i have. This drum set is not just for children, it can also be used as portable acoustic drum set or a cocktail set. It is so easy to set up than a full sized drum set. You can easily set it up anywhere around the school or wherever you want to play. I will surely buy another set like this for instructional purposes in the school i am teaching in.
