M-Audio Oxygen 61

This is my second USB keyboard and this one is much better as the other I had. It feels very plastic and the key mechanism also seems a little light, but as I am an beginner on this front this is ok.

Great gear especially for the money

For use in creation rather than live its perfect. The unit is sturdy but I wouldn't be confident in its survival taking it gigging. Plenty of controls and great bang for your buck. If you're looking for a unit to get started making music look no further.

DAW controller with 61 keys, faders, knobs and pads

I've bought this keyboard to use it with my DAW. It connects easily via USB cable to a PC. I imagined how I would programme each pad for a different sound or different octave, but it doesn't work that way. There are some limitations on how you can programme the buttons. At some point, I wanted to send it back, but regarding the price, I decided to keep it cos of its 61 keys. I will buy an additional keypad controller to suit my needs.

pro:

- faders, knobs and pads, use them all without a need to compromise

- very affordable price for 61 keys

- small in size compared to other keyboards

cons:

- keys are not weighted

- the feeling when you touch the plastic housing or knobs

- programming the buttons comes with some limitations, you may want to consider another controlled to use it side by side

Great MIDI for the money!

This MIDI works super good and does the job done! Everything feels nice, doesn't feel cheap and I really enjoy how the black keys feel. I haven't noticed any cons with this particular keyboard everything works fine and it comes with clear instructions on how to use it and how to install the software.

I also found out that Charlie Puth has exactly the same MIDI I think. It looked exactly like this one and had 61 keys, so if it's good for him it's good for anyone :)

Good for the price

For that price you have a good keyboard with lot's of functions .

Gets the job done

So I needed a 61 keys for practice and some production.

Got it on a deal and it was no point to get a solo keys midi, this one comes with knobs, faders and pads. Pads are not super precise but useful if you don't have any.

The keys are soft, I liked it that way, if you are used to the weight of a real piano, you are not going to like this one.

The built seems ok, like almost anything nowadays. It's plastic and do not hit it too hard...

Overall I love it.

Average quality, Good price

I was looking for a MIDI controller with some DAW control functions + pads. When I got this Oxygen 61 I was a bit disappointed, the quality of the materials is quite poor, the plastic is pretty cheap. I've also needed a couple of days to figure it out how to control DAW through this controller. After almost 1 month of use I can say, that this was a good buy for its money. If you are looking for a cheap solution, and you are not "allergic" to a cheap plastic, this product won't disappoint you.

I buy this controller a years ago, It's not bad works fine, quality of materials it's not so excellent, the keyboards is too much cheeper but ok much controller knobs and pads and feature Ok!

Not a bad product all round pretty good

Used this for a few years. So far I've had issues with the keys losing focus on velocity. I've also had issues with the usb charging port. Other than that this midi keyboard has worked well for me.

This midi keyboard is excellent for the price. It is extremely sturdy and durable and it has many excellent features. I found that the Auto Assign feature was extremely handy as it allows you to control your software instruments' controls without having to assign controls one at a time. It works absolutely perfect with Ableton Live Suite. It is more than expected for this low price.
