Good quality for decent price.
If you want a decent pair of monitors for your workstation/home studio or even to elevate your music listening sessions, then this could be for you.
It's not by any means something special or extraordinary, but it does everything it advertises, and it does it well. I did not had any issues with distortion even in high volumes and I have to say for the price it was more than what I could ask for.
not bad not good
In general, the sound is very good, not suitable for serious work. Infuriates hiss
Mackie CR4x beautifiul product
It provides stylish design and quality feeling.
Great purchase
Fully satisfied, great price / quality ratio
You get what you pay
Got these as my first set. Cant say Im dissapointed but Im not blown away either. They are great for the money but in the long run Id rather invest 100 euros more and get a proper Kali,KRK or Adam set
Bass is tight and consistent, but the mids seem pronounced a bit much. No real issues in the high end however.
Had some connection issues but solved easily.
Great set of monitors for home use
These are a great set of monitors for home guitar playing. Playing music through them sounds really good as well. All in all, a fantastic option to have in your home for both music production as well as music listening.
Cannot recommend
Let me preface this by saying that this pair of monitors are my first proper speakers, up until now ive only ever used "gaming" 2.1 setups from brands like logitech and so on. I use them for casual music listening from Tidal/Spotify and gaming as well.
The sound quality is amazing, really clear and I'm able to tell the instruments apart very easily, as well as tell where exactly they are coming from. Listening to live versions of songs had me feeling amazing.
But I've noticed the dark exterior already started to peel out of the box and most importantly is the hissing. Hissing that gets on my nerves, since the second I turn them on. Very noticeable even in quiet parts of a song.. So unless that is a non issue for you or you work in an already loud enviroment, I cannot recommend these monitors. And its such a shame because for the price the sound quality is stellar.
Pros + Sound quality, looks, ease of use
Cons - Constant hissing
Could be a bit better for its cost
Quite "bassy" sounding, maybe it's caused by my room.
Pros:
1. Low cost
2. Can be plugged in to PC's sound card directly via minijack
Cons:
1. plays some noise while enabled, does not depend on volume set whether on the speaker or audio interface.
2. Poor minijack cables within. Had to buy two Jack <-> Jack cables to plug it into an audio interface with balanced outputs
Robust build and excellent sound
Using these speakers in my studio for several purposes. Just listening music while doing other work, or while editing video/audio. The speakers are robust, feel really strong, and the sound quality is beyond expectation. Balanced inputs warrant best possible sound feed to the speakers.
Good entry level studio monitors
I bought these to upgrade from my previous speakers. They are a step up from your common computer speakers. The sound quality is quite good and they have a wide range of frequencies.
They're easy to set up + they are nice and stylish. You can easily connect them to your computer or to an audio interface.
The one drawback that I find is a very quiet static sound from the small top speakers when you don't play anything through them, it is barely noticeable but still worth mentioning.
Overall, if you are like me and want something better than cheap computer speakers, try these out!
