Great as a stereo bluetooth pair

I bought two of these speakers to act as a stereo pair in my house and to take to the park from time to time. I'm no fan of wires so the ability to link two of them together was the main reason I opted for these. After a couple of false starts where I paired both to my phone instead of linking them to each other I got the setup working (it's a matter of pairing the first speaker to your phone before switching on the second speaker). I am very impressed. Sound quality and build quality are both exceptional. For their size I had expected them to be able to go a little louder than they do, but the maximum volume I have them at when indoors is very much less than their top volume. And they're certainly suitable for COVID-style dancing in the park with a small group of mates. Integration with the Mackie phone app is good but after a few weeks of having these speakers I have not had to use it at all after initial setup, as once that's done the regular BT pairing works fine without it.
