Makes everything sound good

At the moment I have the Mimeophon permanently patched into my output. I bought it because I want to work in stereo and this is just incredible for both working with and also creating that space. It can be used as a subtle reverb effect through short delays and the 'halo' and 'colour' controls, or as a controlled or chaotic delay... but when you start working with 'zones' and 'hold', it becomes it's own instrument. Hours of experimentation.

Really good module

Make noise are definitely changing the game with stereo modules.

Mimeophon is probably the most fun I've had in a single module I've ever had.

42s of playback time makes it able to function as a looper and the micro cv input makes it function as 1v/oct Karlpus-Strong voice!!

I've used both functions with great success.

I've experienced slight problems with the zones though. I find it weird using color scheme to position the delay in time. I wish it had a little more indicating the size of the playback. I also think that the fine tune pot should be inverted, making the playpack speed slow down by turning it to the left.

It took me few ruined recordings to get that into my muscle memory.

But this module is all'n all superb. Would buy again.

My favourite Eurorack effect module.

This module is almost always patched in my Eurorack, it does anything from classic delay to super strange micro delays. And when modulated rhythmically it sounds great. Love it!

Great module

Been using this module in all of my patches. It has a nice sound and some good surprises as you patch it.

Not just another delay

Truly great module. Can function as a delay, reverb or looper. But the amount of modulations on really interesting design of time control make it much much more (repeat buffer can go up to 42s!). Endless repeats and V/Oct in makes it possible to use as a karpal-strong synthesizers. Only con I can think of is no option of quickly clearing the buffer. You need to wait 42 seconds without input. Sometimes it can be a bit annoying.

Amazing sound

I really love this thing. Sound amazing, great features.

I don't like the general MakeNoize design style, i'd prefer something simpler and more scientific looking, but a question of taste i suppose. Just so many great sounds to be got from this machine.
