Marcus Miller V7 Swamp Ash-5 LPB 2nd Gen

This bass is very good at everything. I play worship in a Church. But this instrument can be played in any style. - EQ and preamp The preamp and equalizer settings are intimidating at first glance, but once you understand them, you will be surprised at how versatile this tool is. The rounded sides of the neck are great, but you need to get used to them. Due to the fact that the neck is narrower than on standard f-basses and rounded corners of the neck, sometimes the string slips. - Build Quality. The build quality of the tool is surprising. Everything is perfectly adjusted, the distance between the strings is perfect from the factory, it remains only to adjust the beaker. The anchor rod is located on the side of the pickups and allows you to tighten it without removing the strings....
Cort B5 Element Open Pore Red

Marcus Miller V7 Vintage Swamp Ash-5 NT 2

I have been looking for a 5 sting bass with swamp ash body & maple neck for a long time. Because I like the sound from this combination. I tried the recent release model Fender, Ultra, but I decided to go for Sire V7 and it proofed I made a right decision. I bought Sire V7 vintage and it arrived after one week. The packing is completely fine for protection. The V7 sound is extraordinary with long and stay sustain even for the 5 string (B). The rolled edge neck is very comfortable to play. I have no complain on this Bass with this price. This is a very good option if you are looking for a bass with good sound, quality and inexpensive. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a lightweight 5-string bass with singlecoils. I prefer black hardware, so I ended up ordering this bass and so far it has met all my expectations. First of all, this bass is really light, it weighs less than 3.5 kg. This means it is lighter than all my 4-string basses! Also very important thing, when wearing it with a strap, it sits well without neck diving. Next, I really like the blackburst finish coupled with black hardware and maple fingerboard. Talking about playability, this is definitely the most comfortable 5-string bass I've ever owned. The fingerboard is quite flat and it is also very easy to play in the upper registry. The pickups are noiseless but sound very much like true singlecoils. The electronics with onboard eq allow to obtain a lot of useful sounds....
Sadowsky MetroLine 21-5 Vin Mo Candy

Anyone potentially concerned that the shift from Japan to Germany for the Metroline series has resulted in a drop in quality need not worry. Having owned both a Japanese Metro, the later Metroline and an Metro Express, I can confirm the Warwick/Sadowsky bass is easily the equal, if not better. Fit and finish is flawless, the pau ferro fretboard very attractive, the invisible fret technology delivers no sharp ends and the fretwork is perfect. All the hardware feels high quality and adjusts easily, including the spoke wheel truss rod. The Jazz shape is a little neck heavy when seated but as it is sub 4Kg it’s lovely and light when standing. No hum or buzz from electrics and only a touch of hiss when boosting treble the the max. The sound is pure Sadowsky - boost a bit of bass when on...
Squier Cont J-Bass Gunmetal V

My first Squire Bass has blown my mind with its quality build / sound and playability. Playing bass is my hobby as I was a late starter with playing Bass. This Bass although is competitively priced, is a cracking instrument for the money. I prefer dark smooth bass sounds and this excels even with rounds that come equipped. I've got Fender player and mims that don't have the ability to play as many sounds or tones. Played right out of the box apart from tuning. Just a little fettling of the action and string height for my tastes and done. Overall well impressed with it.
Marcus Miller V5 Alder-5 CGM

If someone told me that this bass cost triple the price, I would still think it was cheap. The construction of this bass is fantastic, and the pickups are very good, not the best but still sounding more like a thousand dollar instrument. The neck is heavy, because 5 strings... but with a rounded scale reminiscent of a two grand Fender Jazzmaster, without a single sharp fret. Buy one of these, put in whatever pickup you want, and you'll have an instrument like the American Professional line for less than half the price.

I've been on the search for the ideal 5 string bass for about a year now. I experimented with a couple different 35" scale instruments that were very nice, but I was unable to get comfortable with that scale length. Having a 4 string Sandberg TT4, I decided to try this bass. Wow! What an amazing instrument this TM5 is! Everything about this instrument is of the highest quality and it plays like an absolute dream. Every single time I pick this beauty up, I've got an instant smile on my face and have a very hard time putting it down. The playability is extraordinary. The tones are versatile and familiar at the same time. Overall sound is fantastic. And, contrary to popular belief, this 34" scale B string is tight, punchy and perfect. I'm very fortunate to own such an amazing...

I haven't played bass for a long time. The last bass I had was a Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe 5 Strings. After I read the reviews for this tool, I decided to buy it. I was right! The sound is very pleasing! For this price, you can hardly find an instrument that will sound close to Fender. Very convenient tone control! The live color looks much richer than in the photo. He is so beautiful that you want to touch him more and more! The only thing I had to do was configure it completely. When I tuned the strings, I noticed that the distance between the strings and the neck was too high. But by tuning the truss, I got a comfortable string height for myself. The best part is a pickup screen. But I didn’t put it on, because you have to make holes in the deck, and I was afraid of something. In...

This V3 bass by Sire is simply an amazing bass considering the price. First of all, let me say that the manufacturing quality is way above its price range. The only real comment I have about its quality is the chromed hardware: the finish is not perfect, but again - we're talking about a 379 EUR bass. The Heritage 18v pre-amp operates as expected, providing huge flexibility in shaping the sound. A frequency sweep control know for mid-range cut/boost is available instead of the more common switch with 3 pre-selected frequencies. I really appreciated the active/passive switch: in passive mode the bass sounds very much like a typical Jazz bass. The B string sounds OK, not floppy or muddy. I couldn't notice any noise in the output, not even when in active mode I cranked the treble to...
