Amazingly versatile footswitch!

This footswitch for Marshall DSL 40 and DSL100 is absolutelly perfect!

It turns those two-channel amps into four-channel amps, and you can even control Master 1/Master 2 (very usefull to balance all four modes volumes) and the FX for each of all of them. If you buy these amps, since this footswitch is optional, this is a Must Have!

A must for proper control

The 2-button pedal that comes with the Marshall DSL40CR is fine, just limited. This larger 6-button footswitch provides more control of the amps it pairs with. The above amp has 4 different channels ranging from clean, through crunch and gain, to ultra gain. So if you want to be able to swap between these easily and on the fly this pedal is a must. And why wouldn't you?

It also controls which of the two master volumes a particular channel uses. The amp remembers which one you last used with which channel, as well as whether the effects loop was on, so this footswitch makes it all so much easier.

The buttons feel positive and sturdy and you can use the supplied cable or any other guitar/patch cable. Recommended!

Changed my way to use my fantastic DSL 100 HR.

I can now enjoy all versatility that the head offers.

It could appear as something "just to have"....but it is a must !!

If you bought Marshall DSL40CR you are probably happy with features. Actually, you need nothing more to make great performance. Anyway, more equipment are very useful. You can reach almost all you need with supported foots witch, but with this one every button has one operation and you can easily choose clean, crunch, OV1, OV2, Master 1 or 2 and turn off/turn on FX.

So esspecially if you use FX (and FX makes difference) this pedal is must have.

Equipped cable is long enough to make space for other equipment.

Cons:

Big price

It is compatibile only with one amplifier for now.

Quite big footcontroller...

The controller is doing it's job, so no problem there. It's quite big in a comparison to other 6 button footcontrols. Overall I'm happy with it :)
