this is a wild beast

It's very loud, when you want it dirty, very loud on 5 or 20 watt modes.

I use it as a gig/rehearsal amp. I dime it and use it with a les paul, the combo is insane and classic, if I need it cleaner or less gain, i just roll off the volume. As a boost i just roll back the guitar volume to 10.

I seriously have no bad things to say about it, it's just that good. I have no idea how can someone make it sound bad :D

Great ,with this amp you will rock !!

I use it mainly in a rehearsal space It's got plenty of power I would dear to say that it is too loud It will keep up with a beast drummer without any problem, plug a Les Paul into this amp, turn it up all the way and you automatically will hear the sound of Classic rock it won't disappoint you I guarantee that you would get blown away with SV20H.

Sounds just amazing

I never got to try a real "plexi" amp, but I can tell you this amp really is sounding amazing. I would advise you to use an attenuator if you want to fully enjoy it, because this thing is loud !

The only marshall you need.

excellent

I use it as bedroom amp with attenuator. and with the greenback speaker. it sounds perfectly like classic 60s/70s rock. exactly what i was looking for. the appearance is also good and vintage. and the most important thing is this amp made in england / UK.

Very Good Marshall Amp

A top amp from Marshall. The 5w/20w switch and the 4 inputs, allow guitarists to play at low volume without losing the Marshall sound. High quality. Definitely a strong buy !

As for 20W valve - good

In general with 112 vintage speaker is a good amp. It is rather loud as for that size. I have decided to buy this head, then compare it with 1987x and decide which is my final choice. Unfortunately Plexi head 1987x is much better. Though it is said that big plexi heads ( I mean at least 50W ) were designed to be played loud and for they "default" tone you have to crank them, even at lower volumes ( for example 2 high treble loudness and 2 normal loudness ) and even with 112 vintage cab 50W 1987x plexi had much richer, bigger and warmer tone than cranked SV20H. It does not mean of course that Studio Vintage head is a bad amp, but for many professionals it's quality can be unsatisfying. For sure it is a good choice for those who want to play at home only.
