Wow! , great ,have never used martin strings before

Having played the guitar for 40+ years using only Ernie ball strings, I have tried another few brands and never been happy so back to ernie ball, these are brilliant, they sound even better on the acoustic guitar than my usual strings, I will probably use these in future.

Great bright sound

Martin strings are my preffered brand for my accoustic guitars, they're durable, long lasting, and handel being cleaned well.

As for their sound, that is the primary reason I prefer Martin strings, they're bright, but not to such a degree that the highs start ringing.

In conclusion, I would recommend anyone with an accoustic guitar get these strings.

bought these cause I had a hard time playing with thicker strings after only playing electric guitar for a year, my guitar is awfully set up so it didn't make a big difference and I still suck at acoustic, but the strings are good and they're like new after sitting in my room with air humidifier on for months without any rust, so they do what they're suppose to

Great strings at a great price. Not much more to say.....

Sweet sounding strings

I'm using these strings with the Harley Benton GS-mini-e guitar (spruce top) and they make a great pairing as this give the guitar more bass and sweetness at the top end.

I also tried this with a mahogany body guitar and they still sounded great but lost a bit of treble - nothing to do with the strings of course - those mahogany bodied guitars will be warmer sounding guitars anyway.

I can't imagine them sounding anything but gorgeous on a more expensive guitar.

The wound G-string did snap at the tuner hole after changing tunings a few too many times but that was my fault. Maybe something to keep in mind if you constantly change the tunings of your guitar.
