Yes, you can probably get something much cheaper on Amazon or AliExpress. But this is a file that will last you a lifetime, even if you are a luthier. You will love it, guaranteed. I wish I had bought one decades ago. Keep in mind that there are three sizes. on this one the concave side is designed for medium jumbo to jumbo fret wire. However, flat sides have more general application. It has safe edges so you don't have to tape of your fingerboard if you just want to quickly fix fret ends that are poking out or some imperfections. This file is worth the price.
