A Plug-in Swiss Army Knife

I mix a lot of post-production stuff and not a day goes by that I don't use the ML4000. The ML4000 has two modes. You can use it only as a limiter - the so-called ML1; or you can select the ML4 mode and have a whole bunch of extra dynamics goodness. This is such an amazingly versatile plugin. I mean, 4 bands of dynamic compression with changeable cross-overs, gating and expansion, followed by a wonderfully transparent mastering limiter. There is almost no issue that you can't fix using this plug-in. By using the dynamic compression on this plug-in, you can even use it as a gentle EQ. This was the first McDSP plug-in I bought, and it impressed me so much, I now have them all. As a long-time McDSP user, I must add that the new v7 UI of the plug-in adds great new features. I love the easily scalable UI size and especially the RTA plot to help setting your cross-over points. This is simply an amazingly useful plug-in.
