10" Drumbal Effect Cymbal

Make your snare sounds like an electronic one.
I use Meinl 10" Drumbal with my custom copper piccolo snare and it produces kick ass electronic sound. I played quite a bit of gigs with the snare and people in the audience can not really tell the difference between electronic snare and mine with drumbal. However, the sound is dependent on the snare. I tried to use it with cheap wooden snare from BASIX drumkit and it sounds really-really bad. If you'd like a kick-ass electronic sound, first have to get the snare with a lot of buzz (from strings) and tone (from body). Copper (and metallic overall) snares fit here very well. Also, drumheads should not be very thick.
