Solid Drum - Solid sound

I use this drum for latin/funk/electronic styles. I like the classic lines, design and sound of it.

Pros;

Traditional rims make the drum less bulky. Skins are thick. It is a solid, well-made drum. It has a rubber ring on the bottom which stops it sliding around. The matte shine is nicely understated, not bling-bling at all. A well-rounded tone, no overtones.

Cons;

The drum is quite wide-bellied, making this a pretty large drum overall.

For the price you really cannot complain. This drum could be used by beginners all the way to pros. Most importantly it sounds good! Enjoy!

Nothing better for 2x as much...

I believe the Luis Conte congas are the best congas you can get for less than £300 per drum. I have owned all 3 for 5 years and they are still a delight. Look great too with the cuban styled wide belly. As long as you loosen the skins after playing they will last for many years. I give all nuts a full turn so it is easy to get back to my preferred tuning
