Meinl 15" Byzance Foundry Reserve HH

Fantastic sound!

I wanted a hihat that would work in all situations, and the 15" Foundry Reserve really does that trick. Soft feel, very controlable. Very good balance between a beefy and also very delicate and crispy sound. It sounds full. If you want a hihat that cuts trough on stage in heavy metal, with lots of volume, then this is perhaps not the ideal hi-hat. In all other settings and genres from rock/pop to jazz it's like a dream that always sits beautiful in the mix. I have received lots of remarks from other musicians regarding how beautiful the sound of this hihat really is. Highly recommended! It is the best hi-hat I have ever owned, and when ever I try something else, I always fall back to this hi-hat.
