Sound is great, projects well, does not need to be amplified to cut through the mix. I use it in latin band and nobody complained :).

Great classic sound, cuts through in the mix comparatively much more than other claves I own

These claves are my number 1 when playing good reggae music.

May vary sound by tapping or hitting on different parts of the clave, even the tip sounds good.

Its got that vintage roots sound I was after.
