Meinl MP11 Professional Series -BB

Excellent mid-range congas

I have been mainly using Meinl percussion products for 10 years and my main conga set was from the Marathon series. For logistical reasons I needed a second set to leave at my rehearsal studio and another one for home/gig use. The MP!! Professional series is a perfect match in size and tone, but with an improved high gloss finish and very useful handles. Very pleased.

Superb quinto, high quality, excellent sound

I use this as part of my regular conga setup for live and recording. All the Meinl Professional wooden drums have a great earthy, woody tone, good for traditional and folkloric styles but able to cut it in other styles too - jazz, funk, reggae, pop etc.

Great tones, very comfortable to play, rapidly becoming my go to drum.

The finish on this drum is beautiful and the hardware is very high quality. Even the factory heads are pretty good!

This is as good as a factory made conga gets in my opinion.
