Great lightweight djembe

I wanted a djembe drum that would have rich bass while being lightweight and this baby certainly does the trick! The bass is surprisingly deep and I also love the fact that I'm not carrying "a piece of dead goat" around (synthetic membrane FTW) - not to mention it doesn't get out of tune due to a bit of moisture :) The only disadvantage is that I'm afraid to sit on it (like I would sometimes do with a wooden djembe) because the plastic doesn't look strong enough for that - but I prefer to play while sitting on a chair - or standing and moving to the rhythm (keeping the djembe on me with a strap) anyway so that's not really a problem for me. Definitely a great instrument overall!

Great drum

I wanted to get a non-animal skin drum and did a lot of research to find one that would best suit my needs. I'm happy for choosing this one as it has a great sound and looks nice. It came tuned and generally had no problems with delivery or communication. Would recommend.
