Warm tones
Bought this to replace a broken skin on my Meinl Floatune Wood Djembe. Great sounding, with warm and dark tone. Depends on your djembe tuning, the bass would be deep and ideal for use as a bass drum in a djembe ensemble arrangement.
Can't comment much about quality... my last identical skin was torn due to proper handling in transportation (although it is encased in a djembe bag!). But so far the latest skin changed is still in good conditions, took lots of beating well.
