This mini-tuba is about the same size as a euphonium, but weighs a little more. It comes in its own gig bag and is far easier to transport than any full-sized tuba. This is a tuba that you buy to compliment your full-sized tuba, it is not really an alternative. That being said, it has its place and use. It sounds ok, even though all the pipework is wrapped tight to get it so small. The valves are good enough.
