Mesa Boogie Flux-Drive

with this pedal i got the character of mesa drive tone.

work perfect with marshall/humbuckers on clean , clasic drive or overdrive channel and this is the first reason that i bought it. The second is that the clarity of the notes is all there, no matter how fast you play, if you play super crazy fast shred with a lot of gain you gonna love it......also very nice for singing solos !

Mesa Boogie Flux-Drive

The reason for buying this effect is to come as close as possible to the famous Mesa Boogie tone, by using just a pedal with any kind of amp.

It worked above my expectations and I guess that many people will be happy when they realize that they can easily switch to that 'southern rock' sound, when their repertoire demands it.

In many instances, the pedal comes near to recreating some tone patterns that are vividly reminiscent of MESA Lonestar or MESA Dual Rectifier stuff.

One can operate the Flux-Drive interchangeably with a "Marshall-like" and a "Dumble-like" pedal, i.e. on a Twin Reverb amp, which is a very effective solution. In that sense, one can keep the characteristic feel of the Fender amp's clean channel, while being able to successfully simulate the dirt channel of three renown amps...

Therefore, this pedal offers great flexibility and a more than acceptable MESA tone, all in a small box. Is there anything more to be said?

Flux Drive + Tone Burst = 2nd channel of an AMP

Most of these type of pedals deliver what they say: "overdrive, gain, distortion". In this case and for the first time I found a pedal that I needed to describe differently 'cuz what I heard was rich in harmonics content and creamy overtones where every singe note in the chord is clear.

This pedal reach all tones from clean to creamy liquid drive as standalone pedal. Now, when you pair it together with the Tone Burst it sounds like a 2nd channel of an Amplifier. I actually tried this out because of Russian Circles Guitar player who has this set up. Also I use it paired with a ProCo Rat 2 on the neck Position with humbuckers which provides an almost fuzzy/over the edge distortion sweet sound.

Overall I Must say this pedal is good buy, works together with the pedals mentioned above and of course it looks very cool on the pedal board :)

High quality, but niche. Try before you buy.

Very good at what it's for, but not much else. Flux Drive is a transparent boost that should be used to shape or to nudge an existing sound just that little bit extra. It's not very versatile and it won't define your sound - think of it as a cherry on top of what you've already got!

It's extremely well made and if you like what it does you will be 100% satisfied, but it is not an essential pedal for all boards. Try before buying.

Nicest overdrive in a pedal I've played.

Mesa Flux Pedal

Only used it once so far - but very impressed - most of my other pedals are MXR and this seems to go well with them, I just used it for solos and it did the trick - Oh yeh - and it looks great : )
