Good sounding little amp (overpriced)

Sounds good, quality amazing etc, but if you think it's Dual Rec in a small package - you've been fooled (as I was). I had both, little amp just does not have balls. I guess it's related to output/power transformer the way it handles low frequencies.

If you into "chug" thing - this one just "chokes". I would say Mini Rectifier is angry and scratchy, Dual Rec is just more of a big dog barking.

If you are for Dual Rec sound - better look for used for almost half the price. If the size is a concern - go for something cheaper. There are few good options for less money. Just keep in mind with big package comes big transformers. I was fool thinking you can get same sounds from low wattage. It's different.

Amazing little gem

When you unpack it, you almost feel it's going to let you down because it's so small. And then you plug it in... and unleash the beast. What a sound!!! I play a lot of styles, from metal to jazz, but mostly heavy metal. The gain channel is great, with 2 modes, so you have a lot of possibilities and can get really high gain tones if needed. Has more than enough power for rehearsals and live shows and it's portability is amazing. The clean channel is also quite good but here I feel the 10 watt setting doesn't give you a lot of headroom if you're playing with loud drums, bass and guitar so most of the times I have to stick to the 25 watt. Haven't experimented much with the "Crunch" mode of this channel.

I'm very happy with the amp, you get 4 styles in 2 channels and basically can cover everything you need soundwise. Now I understand its price tag, but believe me... it's worth it.

Awesome amp, not very high gain

I love the crunch sound of this amp, the clean sound is amazing too. My favorite thing is that it has vintage mode and modern mode, so it basically has 4 channels instead of 2. However the modern distortion setting has somewhat of a limit, it does not go full rectifier. I guess it just comes with the size of the amp. For anything else its absolutely amazing.
