Very satisfied with my purchase.

Mesa boogie rectifier 2x12cabinet.This is an incredibly versatile cabinet that can find a place in almost any guitar setup. As a profesional musician, I've seen this used with all types of guitar heads ranging from old Gibson Les Paul to modern high gain amplifiers. If you need a cabinet that will adapt to different styles and gear, this is a great solution.

And don't forget ! easy to carry .

A wall of sound

It is early for me to give a detailed review of this item as I just got it 3 days ago, however I will share what was my thought process when I chose this cabinet and what I think of it so far.

I wanted a cabinet that can sound great for live application while playing mostly metal, I wanted it to be portable without sacrificing tone and I wanted it to be suitable of recording metal at home.

The cabinet certainly sounds big, it pushes air in your face due to it's closed back and delivers a great punch for crushing metal rhythm chugs. I did not expect that from a 212 (expecting less punch), however I am glad i went with this option as for me it sounds as powerful as a 4x12.

Regarding the size, it has about 30 Kg's, fits on the back of a car, can be carried by one person and also comes with wheels - this ticks the box for me the portability part.

Overall, happy with the purchase so far, maybe a 1x12 would have been enough for me (thinking that Petrucci uses a 1x12 on stage!), however it's good to have some extra punch in the back of my pocket as I don't know how my needs will change.

Awesome sound!

I've used this box for four years now and played nearly 100 gigs. In this time I've never had any issues with it. Compared to a 4x12 it sounds even a bit "bigger". Maybe this is because of the weight - This little thing is really heavy! But thats also what it sounds like :D
