I am big Mesa fun but this not satisfy myself. The sound is far away from a Mesa Head sound and far away from another distortion pedals at this price.

Amazing sound if used lightly

I think this is a great product, considering that is a transistor pedal.

I've used it with my Gibson SG, and I have to say that when played with the neck pickup I was able to come close to a Petrucci kind of sound.

I repeat, this is a transistor pedal, so don't be mad at me if you're not getting exactly Petrucci's sound, that's something you'll have to spend a lot more on to get.

But, still, I think it's a very good product, even though a bit pricey.

One more suggestion would be: don't crank it up too much.

I was very happy when using with the switch on the "lo" position, which allows the sound not to be too messy, and the gain set to, say, 11 o'clock.

I didn't like the "hi" sound too much, but I was able to get a nice sound from it when keeping the gain knob low and playing with the neck pickup.

I hope this will help you guys.

SUPERB!

An immensely dark and powerful sound,

Depending on the guitar (and amp) used, it will almost certainly sound better with a lot of mid cut which opens up the sound like a graphic Eq V.

For an excellent and thorough demo check out Harry Maes (BAX MUSIC)

Great pedal!

Great pedal!. It sounds great, old school thrash metal sound. Solid built and looks great but it is not like a real Mesa Amp haha. I totally recommend it if you can't afford the real thing won't be disappointed

A Hi Gain Flamethrower

Impressive hi gain pedal that completes the set of Mesa Boogie pedals.

It can cover anything in hi gain playground.

IMHO, better than Wampler Triple Wreck, by example.
