All you need in an amp!

This is an excellent quality head with extra headroom due to the 150W power. I would therefore recommend this head particularly for Metal players who like a clear, tight tone for distortion but also for players who like pristine clean tones. However, those that enjoy power tube saturation reminiscent of vintage Rock bands of the 70s can still achieve their favourite tone by choosing the 50W setting. Also, on each of the three channels (Clean, Channel 2 and Channel 3), one can choose the type of gain they want: For the clean channel it's Clean or Pushed while for the other two channels it's either Raw, Vintage or Modern. The player, therefore, has a wide palette of sounds that can be obtained easily. More features on the back include the type of overall sound that can be achieved: Bold or Spongy and Tube or Solid State Rectification. My only wish is that the knobs could have had a midway detent so that the user knows exactly where the midway position is. But this is no big deal and, as said earlier, it is an excellent head and has all you need in an amp! This is why you see it used on stage at so many shows!
