Great sound

I put them on my acrylic snare drum and ever since even our Soundman tells me how great they sound. Only the coating does not last long, but they sound great.

Good for the price

Ordered a couple of these and mounted them on a Mapex meridian birch drumset.

Tuning them was easy and the heads are still in tune after a month, so no complaints there.

My only complaint right now is that the coating wears off pretty fast and is deposited by the sticks onto the cymbals. This doesn't seem to affect the sound much, but it's a lot less durable than other brands' coatings.

Other than that, I can recommend them if you need some cheap heads. I'm using them on my second kit for rehearsals with my band. Not sure if I'd use them for recording, but gigging ... sure.

Brilliant value

Excellent value for money products. Costing is a little thin but the sound is great. Fits perfectly and sounds great. Needed to replace the skins on the kit and these were superb value too.

Really thick head

It really cuts the high overtones.
