I love this thing

If you look for a sophisticated sound, give this a try.

It looks beautiful, it is indeed quiet, but not so quiet you couldn't use it for a normal drum kit. I like my ride quiet, especially under the stick on the outside of the cymbal.

It does not have an articulate bell sound (cuz that's quiet too, duh), which i solve with a separate 'bell' mini cymbal on an extender.

This together is almost as functional as the 22" Paiste ride on my main kit, at less than one third of the price.

I bought this to add to my quite drum set up, along with mesh heads. I bought my other cymbals from another brand and needed something different.

This ride does almost everything I need for in a practice kit. It's nice and quiet and gives a better responce than padded cymbals. I just wish the bell was little more pronounced. Overall though I'm quite happy.
