Drumstricks I am taking lessons with

I used these sticks for quite a while now, at home, on the electronic drums, also for taking drum lessons on acoustic drumsets. They did their job, they did not break, just one stick flaked on the cymbal contact area, also part of its tip fell off, from its side. The other stick is just fine.

Pros: these sticks are afordable, drum sticks need changing, anyway.

Cons: defects in one of the pair.

Note: I am not drumming a lot and never played the drums live.

Just a little too thick... but good.

Inexpensive and well balanced.

I find these perfect for my electronic drums. I personally really like the weight and feel of these much more than many others that I've tried.

One minor negative: the Millenium logo wears off on them quite quickly due to sweat but that's just a cosmetic issue. As for the overall quality of the wood, I can't fault them.

I wouldn't say they're the best sticks in the entire world but they are certainly worth every penny for the price and if you're trying to experiment with a stick size that suits you, you can't go wrong with these.

Will be trying the 7A's next.

EDIT: After trying several other brands I've found these to be quite slippy in comparison. They have a very smooth finish, but that could be a good thing for you.

Try Hickory...

I got these because they were made of Hickory wood and they were so cheap...

The feel when playing is different... Hickory sticks resinate so gives more direct sense when drumming.

Best

For my opinion, those sticks is best of Millenium trademark. I like those. Lightweight and i it lasts very well. Quality is ok too and feels good in my hands. For beginners is very good choice.

Solid sticks

I like the great grip, the quick rebound and the good balance of the Millenium H5A Hickory Sticks! Its material the hickory wood is really hard. The sound, quality and finish are nearly the same to other expensive brands. I think they are perfect first of all for snare drummers. High value for money!

A good Pair of Drum Stick

As titled a good pair of drum stick

For beginner this is a very good drum stick, nice in shape, well polished and the stick head is in very nice shaped and angled, it feels comfortable in both the grip and hitting

Of course i cant tell much a different of this drum stick and the expensive one, since i am only a beginner, and not yet investing much to the gears

Hickory sticks

Hickory sticks seem to be a good build and have a nice feeling when playing with the Ludwig breakbeat set I have, not tried them with another kit yet.

Millenium H5A Hickory Sticks -wood-

These Millenium sticks are fantastic value for money. Thry are nice and straight, with a nice feel and weight, with good rebound when playing. They have the feel and solidity of much higher priced items.

Great value.

As a beginner drummer I found these to be as good as any other (more expensive) hickory stick and they are just as robust. Hickory in my opinion is a great wood for rock, maple snaps easier and I found oak is too heavy.

Millenium H5A Hickory Sticks -Wood

Good cheap alternative to the pro brands. Well made and durable. I found them to be well balanced and perfect in finish and straightness. Much better quality than the cheaper maple sticks that millenium do.
