Millenium KS-1001 4-stars Reviews
Has a wobble after you finished playing but never enough to feel like it might fall over (It's on carpet which may be causing this). Nice and heavy with good heights.
Basic keyboard stand
Nothing fancy but does the job. Seems strong and does exactly what I want it to do! :) wouldn't really use it at a gig but for holding a MIDI keyboard in my studio it's great!
Lightweight stand
This keyboard stand is great for any lightweight keyboard. We are having no problems at all with it, but I would be nervous if I was using it for a heavy more substantial keyboard. Having said that, I do think it would be fine with a heavier one, it would just always be in the back of my mind that it is a lightweight stand.
Decent stand, Could be a bit more stable.
I bought this for use with an midi keyboard (they're generally very low weight), so for me the instability wasn't a problem, but I can imagine if you we're to put a nord or a heavier piece on it, it might sway a bit.
So after selling my midi keyboard this was just standing in a corner for until i recently moved, then I also found an Ikea wall shelf that's just been standing around as well (a 1.7'ish meters wide "lack" shelf). and combining the two has made me a nice stereo/random stuff floor shelf.
The upper feet works great as headphone holders and if you put it against a wall the stability is ok, I have my vinyl player on it and it's stable enough to not make it skip.
If you are looking for a stand for some heavier equipment, I would recommend you to buy something sturdier, but for low weight stuff it works good.
Stand
This stand is hard working, have no problems, good quality
Excellent price/performance ratio
This keyboard stand was very cheap and I did not know what to expect. It does its job very well, only objection would be that the height adjustment mechanism only offers very specific/a limited choice of heights.
Ordered this stand with Yamaha NP-V80, doesnt fit the piano perfectly as i expected because i bought it in the bundle, but for the price it is still a good stand. nicely built without flaws.
Used as 19" rack box stand
I bought this as a 19" stage box stand for a 4u unit. This means I have it set for the first two high positions. While the unit is light weight and easy to transport the spring loaded plunger to select the first position height does not line up with the hole properly and so does not go fully through. The second position that I use is perfect got the 19" case but needs to be forced through to be secure. This is why I marked it down by one star for quality.
Excellent budget stand
. I have a couple of these. A great value stand which will hold even quite heavy keyboards good and steady under home/studio conditions where they are not being moved every day.
Makes up in price and handling, what it lacks in stability.
While it cannot be compared efficiently to a double X or a Z stand in terms of stability, I have personally never had an issue with placing synths and keyboards (up to 10kgs) on this stand. Slightly wobbly when placed at a higher level, it is definitely a live musicians dream in terms of handling (feather light) and very good quality-price ratio.
A good stand
This Keyboard stand works very well. It seems to be strong and durable. It is easy to adjust the height unlike some stands I've used before. Great for sitting down or standing as the range of heights is large. Great for gigs and practice.
Millenium KS-1001
A good quality, inexpensive keyboard stand. Sturdy, and stable, though the sprung pin locking mechanism can be difficult to change, and smaller keyboards may move slightly, as the top of the stand has little grip on it.
Stand
Does the job. Good value
brilliant
this keyboard stand is sturdy, light and folds away flat, taking up very little room. i've had some very heavy, old keyboards on it in a live situation with no worries what so ever........... great deal and great piece of kit !!!
It is good until...
This is damn cheap! Easy and very light. If it supposed to hold a synth under 10 kg, threre is no need to buy a more expensive one. The same result - quite stable.
But no more!!
Avoid trying to put on a heavier one (in my case it was 20kg Fatar 990-SL). The tubes are too thin and the lock is too weak. Immediately or after a good expressive passage on a keys it could bend down or even slip off the stand.
Be careful!
