Millenium KS-3000 S Reviews
A stable stand, that looks good
This is a great stand for your synths / keyboards. The way it sets up etc is similar to the more expensive Ultimate stands. I don't own an Ultimate so I can't compare which one would last longer. I don't fold my stand in/out often, but I'd suggest perhaps if you are gigging a lot, to check out the differences. Either you need to spend a little more for reliablility, or you can save yourselves a bit of money and get this stand instead. I'd say for home and occasional gigging, this stand is good enough.
Bought it once
It is not a bad stand if you are using it for your home studio - it can save you some horizontal space though. For touring it looks fine on stage, but there are issues with assembling, and if you're in the rush, it can cause you a problem. My stand was send with one shorter bolt. Long bolt can hold 35kg, but I'm not so sure about the short one. Replacing a bolt would require a return for repair. Not worth it as the item is heavy and postage would cost me a fortune. The center leg has fallen inside, it was hard to pull it out. I wasn't actually sure if the stuff member wasn't taking a piss because of my nationality. The item was evidently sent out with minor fault. I can't moan too much - for the price of it the quality is quite expected to be like this. I just wouldn't buy it again.
Very good stand
I have always desired to buy a keyboard stand like this, and, eventually, bought this one. I use it with two 88-keys keyboards and it certainly does its job well, as long as you do not move the keyboards too much. Nevertheless, I am very much satisfied, and warmly recommend this stand.
Cable holders
The plastic cable holders no good - one broke after few months of use. I think the problem is in the plastic.
A good priced product
This stand has really been tested holding two stage pianos - coming in at around 40 kg each! It stayed perfectly secure in an orchestra pit with lots of knocks and bangs and eager musicians busting around it with this load so i'd say its pretty sturdy (though a little shaky with all the weight). For stuff like synths and controllers then I can't see there being an issue - and the cable tidies are a real bonus if you're a studio clean freak like me. The screw adjusters for the handle feel flimsy and could benefit from being bulky thug screws.
Sturdy and cheap BUT breaks easy and does not carry well
For its price its OK, because it does hold even a large and heavy stagepiano well, BUT first time i grasped the handle to carry it, the handle broke. Also the moving arms and feet keep flapping out while it is being carried, so it is definably NOT handy to carry around by yourself alot.
Solid and reliable.
The stand is solid and reliable, but quite heavy to carry around. On the other hand it's heavy and thus stable.
Very good buy
A great looking stand with plenty of stability for two keyboards. Looks the business and folds down easily for transportation.
