Excellent value

Bought this for my son who, in a year of playing, is now playing along with Carcass and Metallica and this kit has been amazing for him. The bundle was great value and we've just bought the expansion kit for his birthday.

A flawed beginner's kit

From the start this was a really good piece of kit. Until the snare pad stopped working after the first week. Thankfully they had a replacement sent but it happened again shortly after. Opening up the faulty pads, the wires had snapped, as they are not adequately protected and with every beat of the stick it is damaging the thin fragile wires until they snap.

It's a shame as the kit plays well and sounds good. But given that there is an underlying manufacturing fault with these pads, I cannot recommend it as you'll be waiting for replacement pads longer than you'll be able to play it for.

Great all round kit for a good price

Got this for my return to drumming after years out. Wanted something cheap but not too "budget", and this kit is perfect. Feels and plays great, takes up a small space, and doesn't feel too limiting.

I've only had 2 small issues, one being the hi-hat missing hits if i play fast enough (other cymbals don't have this problem), and my headphones needing to be at a certain angle otherwise sound only comes through one ear. Thats all thats is stopping me from rating a full 5 stars

Great structure, strong body,compact,the mesh heads are very responsive and silent, perfect for small spaces like apartments, home studios. For begginers like me, i think is the best choice i could make with this price comparing whth others e-drums. The module is another good surprise, great sounds.

excellent value with good range of options.

I was deciding between the Alesis Nitro kit and the millenium mps 450 and looked at the spec. Both were mesh kits but the millenium unit offered far more options more songs, more kits and nearly 400 voices with 10 personal kits. The most important to me was the size of the kick drum as i can add a double pedal easily . I am very happy with the quality and would recommend this kit to new on moderate players.
