Great mic stands

Very versatile, easy to use and overall good quality

It's fine

Probably not going to last you a lifetime. It's usable - at least for now - and at least with the color it stands out a bit, if that's something you want from a mic stand. The angle adjustment of the boom arm is not solid and moves around even when tightened, as is usual with stands of this price range.

A good singing stand

A good singing stand, 3 years every other weekend gig, 3 years is its lifespan, which is a very good period.

Great mic stand for little money!

Bought this in 2017 and been using it ever since with various bands, took it from one rehearsal room to the next over the years and it still functions perfectly, all the screws are still fine, actually still using it as of today (4 years later).

It's worth paying more over the base models

We bought two mic stands for our band recently; the cheapest Fun Generation and this one. So what does paying triple over the cheapest stand get you?

- All human points of contact, i.e. grips and knobs are much better in feel and/or rubberized

- The top boom is telescopic for additional flexibility

- All key mounting elements are metal and not plastic

- The finish is much prettier (and hey, red!)

- It feels much more stable than the cheaper version.

I would say the other reviews are on point. If you just need to buy one for home use and are planning on moving it seldom to never, the cheap one will do. This one, I wouldn't hesitate packing every night and setting up on stage.

Great microphone stand

It took me a couple seconds to figure out the locking mechanism for the boom arm, but otherwise it's great.

My go-to mic stand. Visible and sturdily built.

I've been using this mic stand for... 5 years? 6 years? A long time at any rate. I'm very happy with it.

The stand itself is sturdily built. It has a bit of heft to it. It is heavy enough that you can mount a fairly large mic on it and not worry about it tipping over or becoming unstable.

All the knobs for adjusting height/angle etc are also solidly built. I've used this stand hundreds of times and haven't yet had problems. There are some small cable clips that I lost almost immediately - but I didn't miss them at all.

The color is also quite pleasant. Why are mic stands always black? It's nice to have one that's a different color as it helps you to easily keep track of what is where.

If my MS 2007 stand ever breaks, I'm planning on ordering another. Am very happy with it.

Excellent for the price but....

I find this to be a sturdy mic stand that should last a good while.

The only downside i can see is the plastic clip on the boom arm extender that could be likely to snap if you don't handle it carefully. If a more sturdy and roadworthy system instead of plastice were used i could see this product being the full 5 stars.

It is a great little mic stand but for the one flaw.

Not quite as described but very good quality

This is a great unit but it doesn't stand vertically, which is not in the description, so I was quite surprised to see it. Other than that, it's very stable and study. Looks like it will gig for years.
