Brilliant

I love these mic stands. Incredible quality for such little money. I was dubious when buying these because the price was so cheap but I am so glad I did. Everything wells strong, secure and well built. Sure, when I stick a heavy, large diaphragm condenser mic on the end and boom it out, it needs a little extra tightening but I have gone through 3-4 hour gigs on a bouncy stage with one of these holding a condenser over a drum kit and its staying strong and secure but most importantly in place the whole time. Please don't consider any others unless you are really anal about the equipment you buy because these are fantastic!

Seems and feels good

Had doubts based on price, but when arrived I found no reasons for worries. Seems to be built well. Stands in my home studio now and does what it should.

An okay stand

I use this in my apartment to hold a Shure SM57. It works great for that. I would not use it outdoors though as it is a tiny bit wobbly. I don't think it would tip over in the wind but the microphone would definetly not stay put.

Great

This stand is stable and strong , i have a couple of stands the is actually the most stable, the telescopic pole makes for great height and the boom makes it great for any angle or awkward stage set up.

Probably there are better mic stans, but for this price it is probably the best you can have. Stability is also acceptable what could be received by this stand, but really the price is very affordable the the equipment like this stand.

Great stand for the price

The bottom of this stand is very sturdy, stable and well weighted - something you'd expect in a more expensive product. The top joins are a little bit less strong, but they do the job well nevertheless.

It's a good, sturdy stand, recommended.

Great Price to Quality Ratio

I ordered the Millenium MS-2003 mic stand because my Millenium MS-2002 Drum mic stand was just about too small to sit down while playing acoustic guitar. The stand stoops down to a very low level so its brilliant whether you are performing while standing or sitting. I didn't have an issue with the stand falling over or tipping once you place the legs in the right position. It seems to be a sturdy construction and much better than I expected, especially for the price. All of the bars screw into place securely with no trouble and they don't seem flimsy or weak.

I use the stand for home use and it does the job perfectly!

A Really Good Mic Stand

I recently bought this mic stand as it was a cheap replacement for my old one, which had seen better days. I was extremely happy when I realised at a gig how sturdy, light and easy to set up it was. Most mic stands wobble slightly in places, not this one. Strong and reliable.

Looks like a hard wearing mic stand and all the important bits are made of metal so it should be hard wearing. I bought this over the corresponding K&M stand as it was cheaper and it will only be for light use in a home studio.

good mic stand

Stability could be just sligthly better, just slightly. but then again i might be overly demanding person. can't complaing tho. for the price this is awesome mic stand.

Decent mic stand for a decent price

This mic stand is great... for the price. It's reasonably weighty and sturdy and I'd use it for a lot of applications. Would I trust it with my super expensive lead vocal mic or my tall overheads?... only if I had to. There are better stands out there that feature counter weights on the boom arm and heftier base-plates, but for this price this mic stand is great. Recommended.

P.S. avoid cheap stands if you can, you will knock them over and it will cost you in damages.

Great stand for very little money

I have used this stand in conjunction with a condenser mic shock mount a number of times and each time I have been thoroughly impressed. It holds its position without creep and its looks belies its price point. It cannot find any reason to fault it!

Solid Stand

Not much to say really! came in good condition, tightens nicely, stays in position, and all 3 of my different mic clips fit, there's also an adaptor plug thread kind of thing for bigger mic clips so i can't imagine not being able to use it for anything!

Does what it's supposed to do and doesn't take too much space when folded. Would recommend. There is one little thing I consider a flaw though, and that is the fact that the three legs aren't connected and move seperately which can result in balance problems.

These stands are built very well and are more than suitable for smaller mic's such as the NT5's or C1000's. They feel very sturdy and stable even when fully extended to be used for drum overheads etc. The only issue I found was that the different joints of the stand needed a lot of tightening to avoid any movement or rotation. However, this does not change the fact that these are decent quality stands at a reasonable price. The bundle they came with (the Rode NT5 Stand Bundle w/ sssnake SM10 XLR cables) is extremely good value for money for a start-up studio and I highly recommend it.

Decent Quality Stand

Great for home studio use, which is what it's aimed at I suppose. It's not really up to life on the road but for home use it's brilliant.

Fantastic budget mic stand

I've had several of these over the years and sure they eventually break but not until several years of hard use. I've used these on tours, in venues, in recording studios and in rehearsal rooms, always with great success. They also extend very far and remain very sturdy even when holding a heavy microphone. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this microphone stand to all my friends and colleagues. In fact I think I will have to buy a few more of these to add to my stand collection. At this price, you can never have too many!

Very sturdy

This mic stand is one of the sturdiest that I have ever used - the joints screw down very tightly and are not at risk of coming loose and moving about whilst in use. The construction is also very tough, and it does not seem like it would bend easily like a lot of cheap stands. It is also heavy and well balanced enough to hold up a relatively big condenser mic whilst fully extended, so getting it to stay in place should not be a problem.

The only downside is the weight - if you are looking for a cheap mic stand to carry about quickly, this one is considerably heavier than cheaper ones, although certainly much sturdier,

this replaced a good quality brand and was only a fraction of the cost. defiantly gets the thumbs up from me.

I sent the drummer for a long stand.....

OK...enough of the drummer jokes....these stands are superb and its not even a case of "these stands are superb for the price"...they are well made, sturdy and very easy to use/set up.

I have bought other stands in the past costing twice as much but the tightening bolts failed in a very short time. Perhaps this next bit wouldn't matter to most acts, but the finish is great as well, no chipped paint etc, the Millenium stands just wipe clean with a damp cloth ...

They always look good, even the logo on the stand is impressive, so back to the price....UNBEATABLE!
