Millenium MS 2004 5-stars Reviews
Excellent stand!!
I bought this microphone stand because it takes up little space on stage .
It's stable due to heavy base and is easy to install. Stand is a good quality for such a low price and ideal for singers!
One of the best mic-stands Millenium has to offer.
After the below average stand I got from Millenium, the MS-2005, I was worried this mic stand would follow the same pattern, however, this is not the case.
Pros:
-Easy to use, like all mic-stands should be.
-Great adaptability for a lot of different microphones.
-Amazingly stable, thanks to the metal round base, one of the best features it has to offer.
Cons:
-Doesn't extend horizontally, meaning you can't use it for rigging anything for recording unless you put your amp or anything else on top of a table.
Overall, if you want something to use for voice, this is the perfect microphone stand, and for the price it's very affordable. I highly reccomend getting this.
A++
Excellent stand. Easy to assemble. Is stable. I am very glad!
used with a 60's retro mic
I use this stand with my 60's retro microphone the stabilty is great to use well worth the money i spent
Stable and inexpensive
Stable and inexpensive. All I need.
Cheap and usable
I use these for mounting Genelec 8020 monitors. They're strong, have heavy bases and are therefore stable and do the job perfectly. Great for the money.
Perfect for the rock god frontman/woman
Didn't want to be sexist there but you can swing it round its got a heavy but not too heavy base, strong construction had no problem threading the bar to the base as others reported. Take your time and you shouldn't thread it with all these type stands the bar will end up becoming loose but like someone else said a bit of loctite(permanent) or plumbers tape(non permanent) to keep that thread lasting longer. Can't see it falling apart anytime soon the thread is quite long and the construction is all metal. For 10 euro very cheap as well for something built this well.
Review of Millenium MS-2004
Very good quality at a very low price. This part I can highly recommend. Could not be better.
We use the stand in the middle of our practice room to make a live record with one microphone. Plenty of space for it is not necessary, easy to handle.
A small but good solid base for a microphone stand
The Millenium MS-2004 is a good solid well constructed stand - it doesn't get in the way of my feet but it is heavy enough at the base for it to stay stable with the fairly light weight condenser microphones I use.
I was expecting the stand to be a lot less heavy and to be more unstable at such a good low price level.
The stand is easy to store when not being used as it's a small footprint for the base.
I'm in agreement with the positive ratings and reviews given to this product which encouraged me to get it.
I use it together with the K&M 23550 Microphone Stereo Bar to make dual microphone recordings and the two items work well together to give a safe secure place for the microphones.
satisfied
Thank you for good quality and price of this product.
Very durable and easy maintenance.
I will certainly do more orders and give to my friends.
Awesome Mic Stand
This is a great mic - very stable and perfect for a static position. The base is a good weight and can be easily handled. The thread on the pole is good quality and screws into the base easily. The height adjustment is very good and the lock is secure. We current use the stand to support a powered monitor - which gives you an idea of how much weight this stand can bear. Overall, this is an excellent stand for the money.
Solid and dependable
I bought this item because I needed a mic stand suitable for holding a stereo pair of condenser mics , but with a compact footprint that wouldn't get in the way. It also had to be portable enough to be moved regularly.
This item ticks all those boxes for me, and I'm comfortable that I can place my mics on it without worrying that they'll move or fall over. The base is weighty enough to keep the stand securely in place, but is still able to be moved around relatively easily.
Would definitely recommend for discreet but secure mic mounting.
Brilliant for little satellite speakers
These have a microphone thread on the top.
It's basically like a mic stand without a boom arm or clutch on it.
The bases are heavy enough for it to feel sturdy and they beat standard hifi speaker stands because of the weight and rigidity, I noticed they did help stop vibrations passing through.
Their small size enables me to have a very compact DAW setup with the bases tucking neatly under the edge of the desk.
I have seen these used for genelecs, most of which have a mic stand mounting, but the adjustable height means they might also be usefully for mounting iPads or laptops onstage and without feet they don't get in the way and they get a lot less tangled with random cables.
Very good, solid built
Never had any problem with it. Really solid built, the bottom part is quite heavy. The paint job on it can take quite a lot of abuse before show any scratch. Also, the parts hold on together very well, you'll never have a falling microphone from it. Totally recommended.
Superb stand
Superb stand, heavy base, good quality, good value for money!!
Heavy, stable, cheap microphone stand
A cheap, heavy, reliable microphone stand.
The main selling points are its small footprint (no extendable legs, just a small, cast-iron disk) and it's simplicty (no forward folding parts.
That last thing might be a disadvantage if you want to close-mike someone who is playing sitting down - in that case you'll need a horizontal arm.
Great for a retro-looking microphone!
Simple, sturdy and easy to place
This is a simple sturdy microphone stand that due to its simplicity will last longer than many stands with boom-arm. Especially if you compare it to cheaper boomstands.
The ralatively small base plate makes placement easier too.
Sometimes simpler means better. Highly recommended
Comoda
Abbastanza comoda , la maniglia per aggiustare l'altezza è un po dura ma visto il prezzo direi eccellente
Straight Mic Stand
Good quality stand, easy to handle.
Robust, heavy duty.
thanks
Great value for money - does the job very well.
I've had this Mic stand for almost 4 years now and it has served me very well. I prefer this heavy base type stand to the tripod boom stands. Being a solo singer that doesn't play an instrument, I find the stand a big part of my act. You can easily unscrew the base if you need to pack the whole thing into a bag, or in my case (I've a very long gig bag) it fits directly in the bag. Get it, you won't be disappointed. Great for studio use too.
