Purchased to build an analog signal splitting panel. Using two of these, and two mic-line splitters, I have a rack which allows to patch in any external audio system to 16 "raw signal" channels.

I have six Millenium patchbays in my studio (a combination of jack & XLR models) and if all you need is a simple set of XLR outs (from your preamps etc) I don't see the point of spending more, these are just great
